We had a fabulous Friday in
third grade!
We started by practicing our
spelling words this morning.
In math we reviewed
multiplication. We also played a money game that involved much
counting. They seem to like this. I think I will send a copy of the
game home with the children so that you might play it at home. You have
to buy nothing, unless you don’t have a die at your house.
In reading we finished SRA
packets. We also read silently. We read a nonfiction passage about
Dr. Seuss. He is still one of my favorite authors! I don’t think
you ever outgrow his books!
We took our spelling tests
and read with Dr. Seuss with our reading buddies!
