For bell work, we read a
passage about the Alamo and answered questions.
In math we worked with
money. We found certain amounts, followed written directions, and wrote
amounts correctly, using the dollar sign and the decimal.
In reading we finished Mr.
Popper’s Penguins and summarized the remaining part of the book. Our
reading assignment is The True Story of Stone Soup.
We did some “happy” art
today.
In spelling, we now have two
groups. So I have two lists each week. Your child will be
responsible for only one.
