We had a busy day
today.
In math we finished and/or
corrected our Scoot sheets from yesterday.
In reading we read a
nonfiction passage and answered questions. Since this was a
nonfiction passage about the life cycle of a grasshopper, we wrote about
it in our science notebooks. We wrote what we remembered from it being
read to them. Then they read it silently, turned over the story, and wrote
more. Then the last time we read it chorally and they were allowed to
look back at the passage to write for the third and final time.
We had computers today during
our science/social studies slot.
Book orders came home.
They are due next Thursday, March 15.
