We had a terrific Tuesday in
third grade.
We started out with a language arts review for bell work.
In math we continued adding to our notebook using 3-D shapes and information about them. Have your child explain edge, faces, and vertices.
We went to computers for reading today and worked on Lexia. Remember, your child may work on this at home, as well. We had three level up this week. Congratulations to Lauren, Jaxon, and India!
For social studies we read about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
In language arts we wrote our own snowball sentences. If they didn’t finish they were to bring their writer’s notebook home and finish. There have to be 10 lines. Here is the one we wrote yesterday.
Book orders came home today. These need to returned or ordered online by Wednesday, January 17.
The online code for ordering from Scholastic is J34XP.
