As your kids have probably told you, their teacher has been out sick -- today was my second day at home, and last night I had to spend the night in the hospital.  

I think I have turned the corner, but the doctors tell me that I can't return before Thursday at the earliest.

I'm not that good at being sick, but I've been feeling so bad that I'm not even going nuts trying to get back to the classroom.

Tell my third graders I miss them, though, and will be back as soon as humanly possible.

If you haven't sent your book order in, you can do that on Thursday.
