I apologize for the late post tonight -- I was meeting in conferences with parents.
If you did not have a conference with me today, your child's STAR reading and math scores will come home at spring break.
We started today with spelling practice, using our spelling words. In math, we worked with three digit by two-digit problems and made a puzzle out of it.
In reading, we read silently and then practiced on a non-fiction passage. The class is learning the skills of reading for information right now, something that becomes increasingly important in their upcoming school years.
Since we have already read Charlotte's Web, watched the animated version today.
They also took their STAR math test today.
