Third graders learn about patterning and sequencing in math, read a story chorally

We had a great day today in third grade!

In math we worked with patterning and sequencing.  We used people and drawings to show different patterns.

In reading we read our story chorally first.  Then we took a quiz over the book.  We also worked on SRA’s.  We started another set of booklets today, as well.  These are short, nonfiction books that we can read in just a few minutes.  But there is a supplemental page that goes with each.  It covers several different skills.

In science, our winning team, Joey and Kohen, competed against the other third grade teams here at Broadmoore.  We will have those results later.
