Third graders involved in active, hands-on learning

Another productive day in third grade!

For bell work we had some multiplication practice.

In math we worked more with lines, rays, points, etc.  We used Twizzlers for part of the activity.  Then we made examples of each using popsicle sticks.

In reading we popcorn read and started a new SRA packet.  These will be due next Wednesday.  These cannot be brought home.  They are kits that I purchased with my own money several years ago, and can’t be replaced, if lost.

We did a word search using our spelling words and matched our vocabulary words to their definitions.

We went to computers today and took our STAR reading test.  It isn’t time yet, but I wanted to make sure we were improving.

Have a great evening with your family!
