Snow day fun

There's no day like a snow day,

Or so it's been told.

We like to stay home --

It’s so dad-gum cold!

The roads are so icy,

The clouds hang so low,

We just want to keep warm,

And have no place to go.

No one wants to risk

A slip, wreck, or break.

Give us a book

And hot chocolate to make.

We'll enjoy these few days,

of reading and fun.

Because the safety of all

is priority one!
