Students settle in after starting the day on lockdown

We had a great day, after starting off with a lockdown.  When the children got here, they were a little wound up, but they settled in just fine.

We started with our math that we didn’t finish when I was gone last week.

We then continued to work on the math packet and check a couple of pages together.  I wanted to make sure that they were understanding double digit multiplication.  Actually, we worked with 2 digits X 1 digit today.

In reading we read about the Oregon Trail.  Tonight’s story is about riding trains.  We also discussed travel back then and today.

We wrote our spelling words rainbow style.

For art we did positive/negative art.  Ask your child about this.
